I do not understand why Trading 212 is now forcing us to surrender our biometric data to third party entity Onfido in the name of Identity verification???

I am on Trading212 for 5+ years having provided ID documents in the past for verification etc. So I am not convinced “security” being the reason to sell customer data to third party who often end up getting hacked.

If Trading 212 does not remove forcing users to surrender data to such 3rd parties, I will move my 60K portfolio elsewhere. I can pay higher trading fee dor that matter to protect own data security.

I’m finding it frustating too. I understand the need for strong security, but it’s too frequent and the pluggin from Onfido is terrible. Spins for 5-10 minutes until I give up, then I have to do it all again.
