Option to turn off social and community feeds

Hi Can we have the option to turn on / off:
Community feeds
Hot conversations
Social etc

Reason being like many people who are using the trading212 platform this is for investing short or long term etc and do not wish to see peoples comments or suggestions or advise all the time every time you open different tabs or pages .

I have a normal high street bank account and a savings account etc but I don’t want peoples comments or advice popping up on that .

An option to disable or enable this feature would be nice .

So you have the choice to use trading212 as a trading / investment account rather than feeling like a social media account.

Hello, @Ace111

It’s possible to opt out of all or selected notifications and emails from the 212 Social and Community Forum.

The in-app notifications for the 212 Social can be adjusted from Menu → Settings → Notifications.

For the Community, the emails and notifications can be changed when you click on Profile → Preferences.

Many thanks , yes done all that . I mean the tabs etc for example if you click on the social tab or the home tab the (hot conversations or communities ) is visible can this not be hidden in the future ?

Or even just the social tab itself made hidden /unhidden

You’re most welcome. To answer the last question, it’s not possible to hide the Social tab or specific elements within it (hot conversations, communities, etc.).

This feature needs added, I never use social and never will so please let us hide it.

I agree I can’t see why this option can’t be implemented it’s just a tab button make it hidden/unhidden etc .

I just want to trade and buy stocks without feeling I’m on Facebook .

Especially as this App involves my money and stocks etc , seeing other members posts popping up on the screen , seeing posts and comments etc it just makes it feel to intrusive , and unsafe.

@Veselin.V , @Bogi.H Trading212 please Just give the option to hide this button would work

Hot topics are in the Communities tab and didn’t use to be in the Feed.
There is no need for them to be in both.At least let it be collapsible.
Trading 212 don’t appear to understand the premise of ‘If it isn’t broken don’t fix it’
