If I sell a stock in EUR when my base is GBP, will it stay as EUR or be automatically converted to GBP? Is it possible to withdraw EUR to a EUR bank account when the account base currency is GBP?
Wondering if there’s any way to avoid currency conversion fees on sale in the future since I suddenly went from £40k of stocks to EUR stocks
Out Invest account is multi-currency. So, when placing an order, you can select between your primary currency and the asset’s currency. You can also withdraw funds in any currency. You can select one currency balance to withdraw from, and we will pay those funds in the selected currency. You can find out more here.

To confirm, T212 has transferred from GBP based to EUR currency ETFs and Amundi has said on their side it is possible to transfer to the LSE GBP which would be a truer reflection of the initial states
We currently do not offer the option to transfer a holding to an alternative currency line.
