I’m building a small automated trading tool on the Public API (v0) for an Invest/Stocks ISA account. Could someone from the API team confirm the following?
-
Quotes for unheld instruments
: Is there, or is there planned, an endpoint returning the current price of any instrument, not just open positions? Today the only price I can find is currentPrice on GET /equity/positions. -
currentPrice
: What does it represent (last trade, bid, ask, mid)? Is it real-time or delayed, and how often does it update? Is it the same on demo and live? -
FX rates
: Is there a way to get the GBP/USD (etc.) rate the platform uses, so instrument-currency prices can be converted to account currency? -
Selling shares not bought via the API
: An earlier report in the API Update thread mentioned “SellingEquityNotOwned” when selling shares bought in the app. Can the API sell any shares in the account, or only those it bought? -
Minimum order size
: Is minTradeQuantity (or equivalent) in /equity/metadata/instruments the authoritative minimum per instrument for API orders?

Thanks.
