Hi,
Can anyone please explain what does this “Average Price” means? The number is also different from the contract statement sent to me via Email.
In the contract statement, it is written that I bought TSLA for 1492.8261 EUR in the amount of 200 EUR, then I bought it again on the same day for 1520.1614 EUR in the amount of 150 EUR.
Why it is written on the Average Price column in the app 1,707.00 (1,504.00)? Can anyone please explain? Screenshot attached.
Thank you!
Multiple each, then total the number of shares, and divide.
298,565.22
[200 X 1,492.8261]
228,024.21
[150 X 1,520.1614]
350
[200 + 150]
526589.43
[298,565.22 + 228,024.21]
1,504.54122857
[526589.43 / 350]

With a 1,707 avg, minus the current sell price 1,493.97, times the shares.
(1,707-1,493.97) * 0.23264779 = 49.56 dollars
Roughly 0.88 dollar/eur making 49.56 into ~44 euros down
49.56 * 0.88
This is all just rough maths you have to take into account the dollar/eur is always fluctuating, so you’ll be buying in a different rates and the return will keep changing as the euro strengths or weakens.
Your 305 is roughly this
(1,493.97 * 0.23264779) * 0.88
