Hello T212 Team,

Could you please add AVCT@LSE (Avacta Group PLC) to the platform? I’ve checked IB and it’s listed there.

I’ve been waiting for this to be added since 2020!

Thanks

Hi, would it be possible to add Talanx (XTRA: TLX)?

Hi T212 Team

Can you add

iShares MSCI EM UCITS ETF (Dist) ISIN IE00B0M63177
iShares Core MSCI Emerging Markets IMI UCITS ISIN IE00BD45KH83

this and my previous requests on Xetra or borsa italiana or euronext amsterdam please

Kind regards
Magina

Hey, everyone - here’s a quick update on the requests:

  • @magina13 - IMEU and VEUR are now available on both our entities.
  • @Gerben - EQDS is now available on both our entities. Also, happy cake day! :tada:
  • @Egx - AGS has been added and is now available for trading on both entities.

@whitenoise, we’d love to add AVCT, but the instrument is traded on a segment of the LSE (ASX1) to which our intermediary doesn’t have access. We’ll let you know if anything changes down the road.

All other requests are still under review. However, we’ll make sure to provide another update soon :v:

Thanks @Momchil.G

Could you please add Vetoquinol EPA:VETO too?

Thanks again!

Thanks for the update @Momchil.G , shame you can’t add AVCT.

I know you have other AIM listed stocks such as PHE and ORR which have lower trading numbers, so surprised you can’t add this.

Great T212 Team!
Thanks

I was checking now and they are only available in LSE… i need them in euros..in Xetra or Euronext Amsterdam…
Can you add them please?
kind regards

Thanks for the update, we are also waiting for our proposals. As a general request, I would say that the platform is lacking a lot of ETFs in Euro, particularly from XETRA. Most ETFs are from LSE and are denominated either in pounds or dollars.

Are there euro/gbp GDR alternatives available that can be added to the platform for popular foreign stocks for those wishing to avoid US dollar exposure?
Examples of current holdings I would rather hold in eur/gbp include NIO, XPeng, Li Auto, BYD, Baidu and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing.

hello
Thanks for the reply, since i am based in Portugal i need the etfs in euro
From now on i will be more accurate with my requests.

Kind regards
Magina

Just to clarify this point, even if the stock is quoted in your local currency, you are not avoiding your exposure to the dollar.

You are avoiding the FX transaction fee, at the cost of lesser liquidity (higher spread and worse execution), but all forex movements between USD/your local currency will get reflected in your local price.

Thanks @Zergui
Could you elaborate? I’m pretty new to all this but I assumed if a GDR representing shares of a Chinese company (for example) was traded on a European exchange it would have no direct connection to the US dollar?

Indeed, only of the Yuan or HK Dollar, depending.

But its listing on the NYSE also has no USD impact; although it certainly feels this way, you face a (say) EUR/USD forex exposure by holding the USD denominated share; but the share itself will follow its USD/HKD exposure (for a Hong Kong issue), resulting in a net EUR/HKD from your perspective.

Equivalently, while holding the EUR listing may give you the feeling that there is no forex exposure, the listing itself carries the EUR/HKD exposure, which is also a net USD/HKD from your perspective.

Regardless of which instrument you use, the forex exposure is the same.
The only exception to this are certain ETFs and mutual funds that will explicitly named ā€œHedgedā€, in which case they use derivatives instruments to nullify the forex effect.

In my initial post I was referring to the dollar as an example, as you were specifically referring to the dollar exposure; I assumed you meant any ā€œforeign currencyā€. I now realise that you thought holding an Asian listing through a USD listing in an EUR/GBP account exposed you to the dollar, but it is (mostly) not the case.

The other point of my initial post also still holds; using a secondary listing adds additional liquidity concerns, resulting in an overall higher cost for you.

Conclusion is: prefer the most liquid listing available, and the only FX exposure you really face is the one between your local currency/the company’s main listing.

Hello T12 team

Can you add
Amundi Prime Global UCITS ETF DR - USD (C)
ISIN LU2089238203 on Xetra please

kind regards
Magina

iShares Core Global Aggregate Bond UCITS ETF [SAGG]

The other global bond ETFs are all GBP hedged, so it would be good to have this as an option.

Hi,

I would like to add to what others have mentioned already -
I would also like to invest through T212 in LifeStrategy 80.
