Stocks & ETFs requests - add here

Where do you saw that Trading 212 provides access to Hong-Kong Stock Exchange stocks?!

As said before numerous times in this topic, please read this before request anything:

Sorry what did you say?

This is in an ISA account possibly in invest too.

Try searching the app first.

The Web app doesnā€™t have Hong-Kong stocks, so itā€™s invisible and unable to trade.

According to the mobile app:

ā†’ This topic is to add Stocks & ETFs for trading.

To avoid confusion, if you want view-only instruments why donā€™t you create a specific topic about them?

This is clearly labelled as view-only; meaning it trades as a CFD.

HK exchange has never been supported. Youā€™ve been here long enough to know it as well

To clarify why they are considered ā€œview-only instrumentsā€, they are CFDs and not stocks.

The CFDs arenā€™t available on T212 ISA and Invest accounts, CFDs are only available through CFD account.

From T212 mobile app:

So this unnecessary sentence has backfired for you!

So who cares?

They are still viewable on the mobile app under my ISA account and they are stocks regardless.

They arenā€™t stocks. They are CFDs as shown above.

The value/requirements are not set in stone and vary depending on the instrument, exchange, etc. We evaluate each instrument based on its own merits.

Is there a reason that Oakley Capital Investments (LSE:OCI) isnā€™t available?

@WakeMeUp - the instrument is listed on an unsupported segment of the LSE - SFM3 . Thatā€™s why we canā€™t add it.

Besides the above segments of the LSE, there are other LSE segments that are unsupported? So I can include them in the following topic:

Good idea! This is the full list:

  1. ASQ2
  2. ASX1
  3. ASXN
  4. CWT
  5. EUE2
  6. EUE3
  7. EUET
  8. HGS
  9. IOBE
  10. IOBS
  11. IOBU
  12. MISC
  13. MISL
  14. SFM1
  15. SFM2

Thank you @Michael.M !

However I still see ALDLT and IVA in consultation mode only (CFD and not invest?)

My last requested stock is Aubay EPA: AUB , is it under review? thank you!

@XpellCZ MTPI is still under review. Iā€™ll update the thread once there is any news :handshake:

@WakeMeUp Unfortunately, we wonā€™t be able to add WATR, as it is traded on an unsupported segment (ASX1)

Youā€™re most welcome, @Egx! ALDLT and IVA are indeed in a view-only mode for now. As soon as they are live, Iā€™ll update the thread. Regarding AUB, it is still under review :v:

Add real US ETFs (QQQ, SPY etc) to Invest and ISA. I know what youā€™re going to say. Due to regulations blah blah blah. Those regs are from the EU. Not the UK. Those regs are out of date in the UK. UK based brokers like T212 should come together and lobby the UK government and FCA etc and convince them to drop these regulations UK citizens.

These regs have no place in the UK.

Can we set up a petition to start the wheels rolling on this?

The UK versions of the US ETFs are dreadful and illiquid . Please donā€™t mention CFDs, I am aware of the CFD versions of US ETFs
