Supporting this. If Trading212 gest quickly on board many users from slovenia would transfer here. Similar for other platforms as slovenians (including myself) will transfer all investments to the fist provider who enables this and is not a traditional slovenian bank..
Would be great to have this option and I would also begin to invest more heavily. Besides current providers in Slovenia don’t offer trading with fractional shares and fees are not so low as they could be - so Trading 212 could gain at least 60-70 % of investors in Slovenia with some basic marketing.
There’s also a danger that you lose current customers if you don’t offer INR accounts for Slovenians, as many people are waiting on your official reply - if you take too long many might open INR accounts with local providers and you will lose customers.
Definitely something worth seriously considering and hopefully T212 will be able to offer such investment options in the form of INR for Slovenian residents. I agree with previous contributors that interest is here, and that many would open or move INR to T212.
Potentially some additional information and resources:
In 2025, Slovenian Government started financial education promotion:
in 2026, also national ambassadors have been appointed, and have started really actively promoting also new services, options and products - both with in person events, as well as online
I hope Trading 212 can see this as an opportunity as well; there are currently only 7 local providers registered for the INR accounts:
