Hi All,
I can see that the discussion about decimal places and rounding calculations across the platform’s results has taken place in a number of different ways previously, but I’d like to come at it from a slightly obtuse angle, instead of resurrecting those old threads (some of them are a straight ahead whinge-fest).
I really appreciate the 8 decimal places T212 currently employs!! It helps enormously with precision in my spreadsheet analysis.
Momchil (if you pick this up), you’ll remember that I’m in the middle of building a huge spreadsheet to track my investments, so I have a positive question regarding decimal places to ask.
Question:
Is there a list anywhere or could we obtain one, that details all the places in the contract notes, and downloadable account history etc, where the full 8 decimals are used (FX exchange rate etc), and where the figures displayed or calculated are truncated/rounded to 2 decimal places??
I would love to work with the right decimals always and everywhere!!
And I need to say it here once again, what an absolutely AWESOME platform you guys have built. Every day I marvel at how slick it is, and despite niggles around the edges (we all have those, right ), it continues to function flawlessly, and allows me to do things I never dreamed possible as a retail investor. Bravo!
Regards.
