Trading in stock isa account

Hi everyone

I wonder if we are allowed to buy and sell stock in stock isa account as much as we can. Can we buy and sell within the minutes, day? If yes, how many times?any restrictions?

So far as I know there are no real restrictions on any of T212 accounts. Certainly in the past I have made nearly 100 trades in a day on my ISA account. I have also made mistakes and so bought and then sold the same stock (and vice versa) within minutes. The income from the sale has been immediately available for buying elsewhere with no transaction fees (other than FX and the usual spread between bid and offer prices).

Thanks for the response, appreciated. I do the same and as far as I know there is no restrictions. I see some confusing comments on web, therefore wanted to check here.

Dear @Bogi.H hope you are well. I wonder your comments on this matter. Could you please share it when you are available? Kind regards

@Gorku are you perhaps confusing the maximum trade quantities?

This is trading212’s indirect stock advice(well that’s what I call it), so if you want to buy more of a stock above the holding / trade limits they set, you would need to use another broker.

This is the only limitation.

Hi thanks for your comments. I am aware of 20 k limit per annum. I buy and sell stocks with this money. Sometimes I do 20-30 transactions in a day. Recent it helped me to grow the investment. Everything is in stock isa account. My questions is are we allowed to do as many as transactions we want?As far as I know there is no limit.

I meant the limits 212 impose on individual stock positions / trades. There are no other limits.

Every day i have a buy and sell.

So lets say I deposit 20 k in a tax year. I do hundreds or thousands transactions, buy and sell in minutes or buy and sell within the same day or week or keep long term. And finally I create 200 k profit. Can t212 block this account? Any tax around this?

Every day i have a buy and sell.

Your trades are within an ISA wrapper so no U.K. tax.

The only taxes you might have is local market trade taxes, these can’t be unavoided.

Great to read that local taxes can’t be UNavoided.

I was concerned they might be charged!

Many thanks for your response. I believe these local taxes are charged automatically by t212 when we do the transaction so no need to report anything. Is that right?

I’ve heard of accounts with day trading activity being blocked, as the platform is intended for investing.
