Transaction Fee - Pfizer

Can I please ask what that the transaction fee represents?

@cezar There are two regulatory transaction fees when selling US securities.

  1. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) fee: 20.70 per million-dollar sales. You can calculate your SEC fees by multiplying the estimated value in by $0.0000207.

  2. FINRA TAF fees:
$0.000119 per share with a minimum charge of $0.01 & a maximum charge of $5.95 - always rounded up to the nearest penny.

+1 from me. increases transparency of fees and prevents your competition from using screenshots like these to present it in an unintentional way that damages your rep.

I didn’t pay any fees when buying Pfizer stock. Could that be because it’s in an ISA?

@Kennybobs The fee only applies when selling, not when buying.
