VUKE alternative in USD

Hi. I was surprised when I couldn’t find any alternative for VUKE in USD. I’m pretty sure that most Vanguard etf’s have theirs (easiet example VUSA and VUSD). Is there a reason for that? Is it down to Trading 212 not adding it yet or maybe there just isn’t one created by Vanguard which I think would be weird for the reason mentioned above.

Happy new year and cheers for any explanation

Welcome to the forum and Happy New Year.

The UK market is just around 5% of the world market. It makes sense to offer it In GBP. Fortunately currency exchange has 0 fee on Trading 212 so you will be fine investing with Euros or USD and letting the conversion to GBP take place.

Vanguard does not offer a UCITS Euro or USD denominated tracker of the UK market. There exists Euro denominated UBS FTSE 100 UCITS ETF but this has a 0.20% fee. Also Xtrackers FTSE 100 UCITS ETF. These are small funds, one hundredth the size of ISF and VUKE.

Better to stick with VUKE or ISF which have much greater liquidity and fee of just 0.07%.

That makes a lot of sense. Thank you
