In the spirit of healthy competition and pushing Trading 212 to keep evolving, I was wondering if there’s any kind of public roadmap or timeline for introducing options trading on the platform?

Being able to sell calls and puts would be an absolute game-changer for more advanced strategies, especially for those of us looking to hedge positions or generate premium income in volatile markets. It’d level up the experience big time compared to just stocks and CFDs.

Any updates or hints from the team on when this might drop? Would love to hear thoughts from the community too!

Speed of innovation at T212 has been sadly really slow in the last several years.

Would love to see Options and Margin being offered very soon.

Options was promised back in 2021/2022 if I’m not mistaken.

I agree Hope we get to see more new futures soon. see that competitors currently seem just a bit faster with introducing new features. like etoros App Store and even Scalable Capital has now offered access to options through warrants.

The term ‘soon’ here means 4 -5 years.
