How does this work?
If I place a buy order on Saturday will it process first thing Monday with whatever price has been determined or does it process over the weekend?
Also are there any additional costs on T212 for doing this?

You can only place limit order or stop limit order in the weekend. Market order will not work. If it will be executed depends on the price when the market opens.
No extra costs.
