Hi,
I use Trading 212 in Dutch and I found some string translations which could be translated a bit better. Where do I report those?
Thanks,
Chantal

Hi Ivan,
I know it is a challenge. Here the first improvement:
âOpenenâ and âSluitenâ are plural. Normally in Dutch we use âOpenâ and âSluitâ (like open and close) in singular. The others are also singular.
Will add more below. Noticed some other things.
âHangende Ordersâ should be âOpenstaande ordersâ
âU heeft geen Hangende Orders.â should be âU heeft geen openstaande orders.â
More to come. Maybe better to combine them all in one post?
Whatever works best for you!
Almost ok. Check capitalisation above. We have specific rules for capitals in words in sentences in Dutch.
âVoorgeschiedenisâ should be âGeschiedenisâ
(Voorgeschiedenis is a translation of Prehistory)
âAlâ should be âAllesâ
âEINDATUMâ has a typo, should be âEINDDATUMâ
Is there a list of strings available? I have noticed a lot more errors in mails, real money and practice environments. Too much to post overhere. A translation service like transifex.com would be awesome to propose changes.
Found another weird translation on the CFD user interface:
âVeroorzaakteâ isnât really the right context. âVeroorzaakteâ is used in Dutch like âCausing an accidentâ or something like that.
"Neem de winst" (Take the profit) would be better, but even better would be a generic âPositie geslotenâ (Position closed). In the notification itself it shows a profit or loss. This could be shown at TP, SL or TS.
Notification at dividend payment in Invest user interface:
Found some additional strings on the CFD platform:
âlopende bestellingenâ -> ânieuwe ordersâ
âNieuwe hangende orderâ -> âNieuwe orderâ
(note: not needed to call it pending order, in Dutch a pending order is an order which is waiting to be filled)
âHangende Orderâ -> âopenstaande orderâ
âNieuwe hangende orderâ -> âNieuwe orderâ
(note: not needed to call it pending order, in Dutch a pending order is an order which is waiting to be filled)
âHangende Orders Bevestigdâ -> âOpenstaande order bevestigdâ
âHuidige Hangende Order is bevestigd.â -> âHuidige openstaande order is bevestigd.â
