Here is a list of the 50 most popular shares on Trading 212 by number of clients with positions. It has sometimes been remarked that the small percentage of people who use the community forum may not be representative of the wider client base. So I thought it might be interesting to see if the ranking list is any different for people who are active on the community. It does not take long to go through this list and you may find it interesting to see what others own compared to you. Just tick the ones you own.
List is from here
https://www.trading212.com/en/hotlist
I omit to tick shares I received free from referrals, or very tiny holdings in pies.
If you own GOOG or GOOGL they count for Alphabet.

I started this then realised I did not really understand how to make a poll.
I undeleted it. I could not understand how to submit my own answers. But now it works fine.
Only allows three options though, might want to quickly change it to 50

I’m a little surprised VWRP is not on the list, is this not like the cheapest way to access the ETF?

The list is taken from here

There are surprisingly few ETFs in the top 100.
GME still hanging in at position 14!
T212 still haven’t taken the suggestion to remove the stocks which are given as the free share referral.
Select * from data where num_of_shares > 1
It would remove:
easyJet
National Grid
J&J
Royal Dutch Shell
Beyond Meat
Under Armour
3M
I bought Under Armour, not from referral. Glad I did and wish i had bought more. Up 35% in the last few months.
JNJ is $160 a share. Surely it is not given free? Similarly MMM at $170?

Not heard of anyone getting JNJ or MMM as a free share… very lucky if it did happen.
I got two Under Armour and a Shell. As did a lot of other people i think.
Interesting results so far. No holders of Gamestop or AMC. Seems like loyal community is different than wider client base.
I am sorry now that I did not make this poll a list of the top 100 and include the hotlist rank number so we could compare.
At the charity I work with we have recently decided to make £1.5m+ investments of our endowment in each of INRG, RBOD, HEAL and ARKK.
INRG and RBOD are only ETFs except VUSA in this 100 toplist. Is that good or a danger sign?
Alphabet is only 19th in the toplist, but 2nd in poll so far.
Seems l am only one so far to have PayPal.

Under Armour is definitely from referrals.
I would imagine out of the 24,651 maybe 4,651 might hold more than the 1 free.
3M and JNJ I’m now questioning myself but I only there have been other tiers of shares given away above £100.
I received 3UA free shares and a couple of others as well.
It’s one of those Tesla knock-offs?
Someone’s taken a bite out of Apple too.

My mom got UA as the referral share, but when I explained the company to her she bought in a lot more shares of it. Its one of just 2 positions she had open for a while and her portfolio was up 20% for 2020

Did we have a thread somewhere in which people said what they received? Hoping someone has compiled a list of them. About a million National Grid shares probably.
