Just wondering about the account value, for example if I have 500 is account value but 0 free funds does that mean that if I closed all my positions I would still have the 500 to reinvest or withdraw?

Yes. if you closed your position at the price that sets your account value then that number will be your current funds. You can withdraw them or buy something else
