I have an S&S ISA within which I have deposited the maximum allocation for this year (i.e. £20k), so I can’t add any more funds until Apr 2026. It currently contains a single pie with only one holding (FTSE All-World).
I want to create a new pie and use (let’s say) half of the funds in original (FTSE) pie. How exaclty do I go about this? Do I simply click withdraw? And if I do, where does the withdraw go? Does it go into T212 S&S ISA Cash (where I can use it to easily create a ew pie) or is it transfered to my own personal bank account.
Sorry if this is a simple question, but I’m a not sure how this works.
Export the holding back into your main portfolio, sell some of it, buy something else, move the two holdings into two separate pies, although for the life of me I can’t understand why you want pies with just one holding.
Pies have a specific purpose of holding multiple investments each with a percentage totaling 100 and maintaining those percentages by automatically selling and buying during rebalancing.
Thanks for the reply and advice. Being very new to T212, I wasn’t aware of the export function, or how it works, so your advice was very helpful and very much appreciated.
Just to explain… My new pie will have multiple invesments in it and the original one will have multiple investments added to it when I can add more funds next April.
