Add YTD and MTD chart view options

Currently, the chart view options are limited to 1D, 1W, 1M, 3M, 1Y, and MAX. It would be very helpful to also have Month-to-Date (MTD) and Year-to-Date (YTD) views.

  • Why this matters:

    • MTD and YTD are standard time frames for tracking performance across investments and portfolios.

    • Many investors want to quickly check how their holdings are performing within the current month or the current year, without manually calculating or estimating.

    • This makes it easier to align with how financial reports and performance benchmarks are usually presented.

Adding these options would improve the usability of the charts, make Trading212 more competitive with other platforms and save users time. It’s a small change with a big quality-of-life impact for active investors.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We’ve received similar suggestions and see the value in these options, as they would give investors a more straightforward performance overview. There aren’t any updates on implementing it at the moment, but if there’s any news, I’ll be sure to share it here.

Where and when will this option be introduced?

It seems such a simple change to implement. I cannot see why it is not available both in app and website.

This is basic stuff!
