One feature I’d love to see added is a Year-to-Date (YTD) view on individual stock charts.
YTD is one of the most widely used timeframes by investors because it shows how a company has performed since the start of the calendar year. It’s the standard benchmark used in financial media, earnings reports, and portfolio performance comparisons.
Without a YTD view, users have to estimate using the 6M or 1Y chart, which doesn’t accurately reflect performance for the current year.
Adding a simple YTD button would:
-
Make it easier to compare stocks against major indices and ETFs.
-
Help investors quickly measure annual performance.
-
Bring Trading 212 in line with most professional investing platforms.
-
Improve the experience for long-term investors without adding unnecessary complexity.
It’s a small change that would add a lot of value for anyone tracking their investments throughout the year.
