Alternative ID verification methods

Hi everyone,

it is nice to see such an active forum for a broker!

I’d like to suggest adding more options for identity verification — for example, using POSTIDENT or the German eID system for the German customers.

At the moment, the only available method seems to be verification by motion selfie and picture of the ID through the app, which might not be fully accessible for everyone. Offering alternative verification methods would make the process more inclusive and barrier-free, especially for older and disabled people.

Since Trading212 is now actively addressing German customers through its German branch, I think it would make a lot of sense to adapt the verification options to local standards as well.

Is this something the team has already considered or planned to introduce in the future? I believe it could really improve accessibility and trust for a wider range of customers.
