Hello you very intelligent and amazing people that make up these forums. I truly hope you are doing well and keeping positive.

I kindly wondered is there any factors to help determine when a market is in a bull market or an uptrend period please? I know for instance you can look at the S&P 500 Index Tracking and check technical indicators on this. I kindly wondered if economic data can help like GDP growth or whether there is other indexes to check and what technical factors to look please? If anyone could kindly advise on this i would be forever grateful for your help and support, it would mean so much to me.

That’s a strange question - to me it looks suspicious.

A full answer would fill a book - which I certainly couldn’t write.
I suggest you initially familiarise yourself with what you can of the way thngs work, from youtube videos and the like.
You will soon realise some simple things, for example, that you can profit just as much from a market which is falling, as one which is rising.
