Cash isa transfer in, delay until maturity

Hi, I’ve transferred in a cash isa before, all easy, but I want to set up another one for when my Cash ISA with Virgin matures (20 Aug 24). Usually there’s an option on a form to action either immediately or wait until maturity date, but not on the t212 form that I can see. Can this be done?

For the time being, we don’t offer the option to initiate a transfer with delay or to set a specific date. To guarantee that the transfer goes smoothly, it is best to initiate it manually on the date of maturity of your ISA or after it.

It’s frustrating that I’ve got to let my big bank ISA give me 1.25% for the time it takes to transfer!
