Cineworld Long Term or Short?

Yeah mine was 45% profit but only a tiny position so can’t be too bitter.
That’s so money better put to use elsewhere now.

I think Cinemas will always have a place, but that may be much smaller going forward. There are other chains that offer a much better cinema ‘experience’, and I think they would last the test of time much better.

Is there not the fact that the past year has limited film production somewhat, so the pipeline of new works has also reduced to a point. Their debt levels are also quite high as well that is a concern, so I would be careful about an entry point.

Depends on your set up at home… Personally I think the days of paying extortionate prices to visit a lower definition screen at the Cinema are coming to an end.

Agree. Annoyingly Vue was set to IPO last year and I was primed to climb on board. Alas…
