Roughly 10% of males are colour blind, including myself. I often find coloured comparators difficult to interpret, including the new dark format for asset comparisons, which is impossible to read. Very little attention is given to providing colour blind friendly options, presumably because we are not a particular vocal minority group. Notable exceptions include The New York Times and Wordle, which has a colour blind friendly option. Would T212 please offer something similar?

This was originally discussed in this thread. At this time, thereās nothing new to share, but Iāll keep you posted if I hear anything about offering a colour-blind mode.
I have good colour acuity but find looking at the VIVID red or green tiny values against a dark background very difficult. Same for the y-axis dark grey font in, guessing, 2px font size.
Ok Iāve posted a few weeks ago about this how chart candlesticks cannot be changed for colors which puts red / green color blind people like me in a highly disadvantageous position.
In fact it makes the platform for day trading practically unusable. In every other aspect itās fine and for me would work with other investing aspects I have with 212 all under āone roofā which I desire.
Nearly every other platform Iāve demoād allows for easy editing so as to make the experience much easier to use.
My earlier post a few weeks ago got moved to a āsupportā topic place.
I notice there that there were other queries relating to this same āissueā going back to last year.
I was told this is being āworked onā.
This 212 platform I gather is a variant of Trading View (which Iāve tried) and is easily editable so in theory at least should be easy to execute in the software.
Iām getting the distinct feeling, for some unexplained reason, this will never be implemented on this platform which for me will force me to go elsewhere so I can actually see what on earth Iām doing !
Iād like this post to NOT be moved away to the ether and for 212 to be honest and say if they have no intention of implementing a thing that I know is (in software) straight forwrad to implement.
If you have no intention of doing this helpful thing please say and I can get on with my trading life.

Thereās no change since my last reply on this, but Iāve passed your feedback along, highlighting the importance of having a colour-blind mode. Iāll let you know if anything changes.
For people who are colour blind would it help to switch the display to monochrome? f.lux will do that (although I use it to automatically change the colour balance in the evenings). I suspect that there are apps that will change colours to accommodate colour blindness.
Can we do something about the tiny font sizes in dark grey on black background.
