Desktop version now even more useless

Over the last few years it seems the development team have forgotten that people use laptops, as is evidently the case with just how terrible the desktop version of T212 is.

The most recent change I can’t seem to find a setting to fix is with pies and names. I like to put a number and a name for my pies. EG 01. Monthly. 02. Quarterly. So I obviously want 01 to be first in the list, but the desktop version now only lists pies by value and I can’t see anywhere to change it.

The ironic thing is on the app, they show by name, just not on desktop.

I am not going to bring up how clicking search on the desktop version brings up a tiny tiny search box which compresses all the details of a stocks into stupidly small bits which you have to scroll left and right to see…

Go to the Settings cog near Account Value in the lefthand panel. Third option down is “Sort Investments By” and choose “Name”.

It’s not obvious, but it’s there. Logically it should be a setting in the Pie sub-window in that panel.

Thank you, I found it and changed the setting. Now I can carry on using the stupidly small search box that you get when using the desktop version.
