New browser layout - investments & pies

Hi,

Just wondering about the new layout in the browser. All the investments and pies are now all mingled together in order of amount invested. So no longer alphabetical order and not sorted between pies and investments.

Is this going to be a permanent change?

Hopefully it reverts back to how it was. Thanks.

Totally agree, this is an awful update.

Please give us back the option to list by name, ticker, prices as it was before.

Something that worked perfectly well did not need tampering with to reduce functionality.

I canā€™t understand how anyone thought this was an ā€˜improvementā€™.

Keep pies separate to investments and keep them in alphabetical order.

How it was a few hours ago.

I actually like that they are shown together, but Iā€™d like to have the option to sort alphabetically.

I also would like to know what is going on. I Prefer the layout with separate individual stocks.

It seems to have only changed on the laptop, because I checked it on the mobile and itā€™s still the same.

On the desktop site:
What has just happened to the portfolio investment list view?
Why is everything bundled into one list, pies and investments together?
Why add viewing the the lists individually behind additional inputs?
Why are they now listed as % position? Why make it difficult to find positions in the list?

Change it back, please!!!
Tabs for invest and pies, to easily switch between the two. Easy to view.
List alphabetically so it is as easy as possible to find positions.

Additionally, please add tooltips to icons. Its as bad as Windows 11.

Thanks

Yes, its horrible. I was verifying them in alphabetical order, now they are all mixed up. And missing the first 8 biggest positions. Not even find cant bring them up (only on the end pie they show up)

I agree with everything above - absolutely appalling. Not being able to sort my investments alphabetically is one of the reasons I left FreeTrade as it makes totalling up for the month a pain having to scroll up and down continually - restore that please!

This requires urgent remedy. Whoever changed it, please, just get them to restore it to how it was - improve the filter or whatever - but keeping it like this is just going to be a real pain. The interface needs to be as user-friendly as possible.

I need to be able to view ALL investments. As it is I canā€™t see all the companies/ETFā€™s that Iā€™m invested in. Out of 29 holdings I can see 11. The rest are in pies.

It is not practical to expect us to be opening pies to view price changes on the stocks we hold. More than half of my holdings are hidden from the main page as I now have to enter a pie to check price movements.

A quick scan of stocks/etf should take seconds and not be a multi-click process.

Guys please do something to correct this debacle urgently. As an investing beginner I chose 212 because I found the interface very simple to use and understand.

As of yesterday thatā€™s all in the past and it has become a maze and so difficult to use. Everything has become a painstaking process.

Please fix it as soon as possible. Why mess up something that works??

Thanks for the feedback, everyone

We are already working on adding additional sort options, including the ability to sort by name and gain/loss. Iā€™ll let you know as soon as they are available. In the meantime, you can sort your portfolio by name, value, result and other metrics via the ā€˜Homeā€™ tab in ā€˜Advanced viewā€™ mode.

Is there a way to get rid of the chart? I can see only 3 investments at a time. The homepage doesnā€™t seem like the best layout to me.

If I exported every one of my holdings from pies are they going to show up on the normal page?

Why not make implement changes at the weekend instead of faffing about when markets are open?

So far this morning it has been a waste of time and quite stressful trying to navigate my holdings and to see them all in one place. When you have many multiple thousands of pounds worth of investments it should not be this difficult to track them.

Iā€™ve dragged it upwards and can see six holdings. Thatā€™s the best that can be done now I think.

Everyone will have different views on this and their own priorities, however for me I quite like this change, works for me. Good to hear that additional functionality will be coming to improve sort options, etc so this will help others. :sunglasses::+1:

Ah brilliant, thank you, that will do me for the moment while you work on the other one. I actually didnā€™t know about this in Advanced View, itā€™s pretty good! I can even remove the fields that I donā€™t want to create more space.

As I think Tonycyp was saying also, minimise it. Iā€™ve done that and I can see 8 investments.

Please give us back the option to list by name, ticker, prices.
And mix single stocks and pies works fine.

Thanks - could you tell me how, I just canā€™t seem to find it. Cheers.

Yes mate- Just place your cursor just above the name bar and when itā€™s exactly on it it gives you the option to move the divider up or down by keeping your mouse pressed.

I take this is noy available in the app.
