Hiā¦ I searched the forum but couldnāt find anything on this. I am an investor from Singapore and Iām looking to invest in dividend stocks soon. But I know that there are taxes on dividends. I read about dividends being classified as āordinaryā or as āqualifiedā. It also had something to do with holding period and stuff like that so Iām not really sure. Can I get some help with this? More specifically, Iām looking to invest in HDLG or HDLV, so whatās the dividend tax on these for my situation as a Singaporean investor? Thanks!
