Question for dividend taxes

Hey all,

I’m new here and I was wondering do you still pay taxes for dividends , if you do not withdrawal your money? If yes, do you need to pay them every month or on every 4 months depending on when your dividend is payed?

I want to reinvest my dividends and that’s why I was wondering.

Yes you must pay taxes on dividends. They’re considered income just like the money you earn from a job. If they’re within an ISA OR below £2,000 a year you don’t have to worry about them. If you earn more then this I suggest to go to the website below if you’re from the UK, or looking it up on your own countries guidelines.

Even if in an ISA? Didn’t think that was the case.

Yes, dividends are completely tax free in an ISA

Are they tax free for all countries? My account is not ISA(it is investment), but I guess I can make it ISA, if that is true.

Dear Valeri, ISA is something only for UK residents.

Ahh, so it is not applicable to my case then. Thank you, @Lonelynx!
