Enhanced/Easier navigating my commonly held instruments within multiple Pies ![]()
As ones portfolio grows it seems that one instrument is often to be found in multiple pies, especially with the ability to have 50 pies of 50 instruments.
- It would simplify things greatly if when viewing an instrument, a link, or at a basic level, the name of the pies that include that specific instrument, was easily viewed. Important to also distinguish based upon which Currency/Exchange it is held in too. (sorted by ISIN# + currency, would seem the most obvious way of facilitating this ?) (ISIN’s do not distinguish between currencies ???)
- Like many others I presume, I often don’t purchase additions to an instrument within the pie, via the INVEST function. Yes I could adjust it from self-balancing etc. but … too complicated. I will buy outside the pie to bring down an average, then import into a pie, or pies. Therein lies the issue ?, keeping track.
I can see the value of the instrument ‘in’ that pie, and when I select it specifically I can see my entire position for that instrument. The problem is that I hold that instrument in let’s say, 10 different pies. One instrument can be in several pies and at differing values/holdings, Fixed Income, Dividend, Swiss Fr’s pies etc. etc.
A handy way of navigating all of these options would be to include a kind of ‘hyperlink’, from with the instrument, getting you to the pie you want much more easily, and reliably so.
As an extra extra option, having the ability to see your investments via a navigable tree diagram ? ( I’m thinking like a hyperlinking network diagram - up a level, up another level .. expand that level/pie etc. )
Cheers.
