Hello you wonderful and intelligent people that make up this forum. I truly hope you are doing well.
I was kindly wondered when looking at screeners such as Finviz what are the most important settings for finding Value Stocks please? For instance Core Molding Technologies Inc (NYSEAMERICAN:CMT) is written about as a strong value stock. If anyone could kindly help me with this i would be forever grateful and thankful it would mean the world to me.
Sending you lots of good wishes and i truly wish you have a wonderful life and lots of success with your investing. With my every best wishes.
I use Stockopedia and they rate CMT as 97/99 for Value. 89/99 for quality and 48/99 for momentum for an overall rating of 95/99.
" What is the definition of Value Rank?
βThe Value Rank is a ranking system based on an equal weighted blend of traditional value ratios including the P/B, P/E, P/S, P/FCF, Earnings Yield and Dividend Yield. These inputs are computed for every company in the market on a daily basis, ranked, blended and then re-ranked as a percentile from 0 (worst) to 100 (best).β
βOur recommendation is to always use the Value Rank in combination with other Quality or Momentum factors.β
For value investing, in my opinion, the best platform so far is Stock Rover. Although it is not free, it allows you to create custom screeners for value investing like no other.
I will look into Finviz and post here what I believe could be a good compromise screener.
You might want to play with this screener (see link below). You can make several adjustments according to your preferences. However, you should remember that some key criteria should not be compromised when looking for value investing opportunities.
