I seen earlier that GME was showing “Trading in this instrument is currently halted.”
The stock value has been flying up over the past week but I thought these halted issues were a thing of the past?
Trading halts via the Exchange mechanism’s is common practice and not a thing of the past.
Where as you might be referring to past Broker issues like HOOD halting due to capital obligations aka looking after their hedge fund mates lol
The instrument was halted multiple times by the exchange it is traded on, and this is beyond our control. You can follow when an instrument is halted and resumes trading on this page.
