How often is the lending info updated in the Invest accounts

I use the share lending “demand” info in the Invest account as an indication of the level of shorting on a stock. I believe that NASDAQ only publishes short interest data twice a month based on filings by providers. It would therefore be good to know whether the “demand” info in T212 is more up-to-date, reflects the same twice monthly filing or is less timely.

I’ve just had a look at a few companies and am fairly surprised that a couple of companies that both have the potential for major news in the near future have high lending demand.

The demand shown on the securities lending indicator reflects the share lending on a portfolio basis by our Intermediary - Interactive Brokers.

Thanks. How often is it updated. Is it daily, weekly… or is it “live”.

The indicator is updated on a daily basis.
