Well, I tried the desktop login/view and I couldnāt find the āunrealised returnā tab that another user claimed.
I tried a pie, manually invested option and proper shat myself when it said something like āwhen the market opensā so I just deleted the pie that I never wanted in the first place. What a pucking falava.
I donāt want to sell my holdings just to buy them back in a pie. Iāll just get my calculator out and add up any individual unrealised returns to get the figure that T212 used to provide.
These fancy new percentages just donāt do anything for me, a total boad of lollocks
Iām being forced into features that I donāt want to use or spend time understanding. Why is it that some folk think that everybody needs to use all the features and then label those who donāt as technically inept, whoās a flever cucker
I was perfectly content plodding along towards doubling my investment when T212 changed the presentation of data on screen.
So instead of simply being able to see my unrealised return, all I now see is done fancy 76% on the āmaxā view. Iām not really bothered about the %, Iām chasing the absolute Ā£ value. Before the change, I could do that easily.
I had a position with 70% return. I bought another 5 shares, then changed my mind and sold them on the same price. Now my return on this position is 13%. Its not only the rate of return, itās also with a single positions. Sorry, but itās not good enough.
The old one was so much better, i dont want to include the money deposited and not invested, whats the point?.
I use it as a savings account with the interest on cash, i dont want to get it mixed and get false ratios of my investments, want old versión or at least and option ASSAP!!!
Why not change the value that is next to investments, to the amount invested before any unrealised loss/gain?
Or better yet, display both.
Invested
% loss/gain
Current value
Additionally: Current fund reserved for pending Buy Orders. Apologies, spotted it. All good on the pending orders front, for now.
I did the same, wht an ef up, i got rid of it. Pies donāt show us what we want, and then try to control what we do based on balance. I have my own balance that Iām quiet happy with thank you very much
I know I am replying to my own message but thought Iād follow up, Today logged onto Web App and to my amazement, the total value of your currently selected portfolio is now back in the top left corner. Fantastic, not perfect, not the way you could previously see what cash you had if you clicked on it but a million times better, for me at least, than the last update. I doubt very much I affected this change but I did send a complaint directly to Trading212 Customer Services regarding the issues I was and I suspect many others might have too. Well done Trading212 for making this simple change for me.
Recently you started to show me total PnL of my portfolio over selected historical horizon - which is nice, thank you!
But I would still like to see the good old unrealised PnL of the current investments (maybe as a switchable option like you made for total net deposits)
Cheers!
Theyāve also added back the unrealised figures: profit/loss as moey and percentage, and the total amount you have invested originally. Unde more details, bottom left under your shares
I set up a pie, when I tried to balance it to reflect the amounts of investments I had, it said it was unbalanced, it said it had to be balanced by 20% or something, didnāt really get it, Iād gone beyond caring by then, but because I left it as it was, unbalanced, it said it would balance it next time market was open, donāt know if was going to sell stuff or what, maybe not, but wasnāt going to risk it, I tried to cancel the pie, you canāt do that unless the pie is at zero, so I had to transfer everything out manually, I zeroād the pie then closed it.
Doesnāt matter now, theyāve added back the unrealised profit and real time invested amounts, thank goodness.
Thanks for all your help, but Iām not an IT worker nor your colleague, have lots of luck however you trade.

I can see that on the website interface, have they also added it to the app? I have not updated the app on purpose to keep it useful. But if the app is now showing the actually useful profit/loss figures and not the silly āyou made a profit 5 years agoā figures. Iāll update it
