Value 48080, net deposits 38917, total return 9087, rate of return 57.4%. It doesnât make sense to me, i want to see my actual portfolio return like before, can you please add it?
I don`t like it. In my opinion it is fairly useless.
Thing is I use the Trading 212 card as my main paying method, that means in this chart I have constant incoming and outgoing cash (witch is totally true). I have constant deposits and that cash is not invested but spent, so the picture is totally screwed, to a point it becomes useless.
Keep working on it and if it works for someone let em use it, but pls. GIVE OPTION TO REVERT BACK TO THE OLD LOOK. The previous look, was very simplistic, but gave me the information I need.
It is very strange that now it is absolutely impossible to see the information the old look provided. I can go to history and calculate it myself, but why should I?
ps. one minor thing. the icon to add cash. on the main screen it is the icon is that circle with the plus. In the cash widget it is oval button with text and a plus. on the card screen the icon is circle with bills and tiny plus. In the options menu it is oval button only text no +. To summarize absolutely every time you place that button its somewhat different. I think consistency is a sign of good design, inconsistency sign of the opposite.
pps. one more minor thing. the invest change and invest cashback ⌠thanks for the option I will decide to use it or not, now can we pls send them someplace in the options or at the very bottom. They just clutter the menu. Or lets us rearrange the screen to our liking
All values shown, account for unrealised loss/gain.
There is no base invested value clearly shown.
Before the update, it was clearly displayed what I had invested. It was 11% more than my Net Desposits.
Now I cannot find this is shown anywhere in the app
Hello everyone.
For me then new look its quite confusing.
But my main problem is why net deposits + total return > value.
The difference is around 200 usd. Just doesn`t add up any calculation.
Does anyone know what could be the problem?
Agreed, if they donât bring it back Iâll move my investments elsewhere.
Adding to what others said. We need to see the overall performance current/active investments on the main screen, as was the case until now.
Taking this away is making the app unusable and you will probably lose investors, including myself, instead of gaining new ones.
The total returns/rate of return doesnât hurt, but it is of no use on a daily basis.
Can I also add, that the performance of both the Desktop Website, and App have suffered since this update. Initial slow loading of pages and tabs. Actions within the tabs seem ok. But switching between home, search etc, has a notable delay.
So, basically now i have to take out a good old fashioned calculator to add up all my unrealised returns?
I havenât noticed any slowdown on desktop.
Mobile is always fairly slow for me (has been for months, despite getting a new phone). Clearing the app cache on Android helps for a bit
âHow does one view, the total amount currently invested?â
You cannot. Amazingly.
âSo, basically now i have to take out a good old fashioned calculator to add up all my unrealised returns?â
Rather silly, isnât it.
Shows you unrealised if you put it in a pie.
That would be because itâs totally irrelevant.
Even though I donât care about unrealised return as a long term investor I get why some people find it useful.
Maybe it could be added as an option (outside pies).
The Invested amount and the return of your investment is required in the Investments section. This is live information required on how your investments are doing which was available before the updates. Please bring this back ASAP.
The TOTAL RETURN hides the fact if you had a good return in the past but your investments are going south.
Overall the rest of the updates are fine but the most important information on the investments are gone.
On the new update, the net deposits doesnât update for the current timeframe selected. It always stays as the all time deposits. Would be nice if it updated so I can see how much Iâve added in the last year for example.
It needs the option for both.
Apart from everything else not making sense at the minute with the new app, your reply on auto-invest seems different to one I had previously. I remember way back asking how come there was a dividend payment made to one of my pies yet there was no cash in the pie. The reply I got was the Div will be connected to the pie but the cash went to free funds. Has that changed?
It would be beneficial if the Div was allocated to the pie to get a true ROR but without forcing the user to have to re-invest that Div at the pies weights or, let the user manually choose where to invest the Div within that pie.
An example would be, if I had a stock that I wanted more of but not prepared to pay the current price, it would buy the stock and ruin my average price.
The option would be to knock off auto-invest and lose the ROR feature.
Or have to change your pies weight to minimise investments into companies that you didnât want to invest in right now to overweight which loses the pie score feature.
This would be a PITA when you have a dividend focused pie and getting divs on a regular monthly basis.
Doesnât seem to make good sense to indiscriminately invest into companies when theyâre currently massively over-valued.
I donât use pies, so your remark about pies is also âtotally irrelevantâ
Use them then and get what you want, rather than being a baby. (Like mev202)
The Rate of return doesnât make any sense. I have lost money on my investments, but it still shows positive return because of the interest in cash (I believe).
Please give the option to show the return we want to see (Stock only / Total return)
