Possible ROR Workaround

In terms of this post here
Would this work and manage to still use ROR feature? I’m thinking, if I change my minimum allocation to 2% it would require £100 in dividends before it would Auto-invest it (Not expecting £100 in one month at the moment) If I keep withdrawing the cash and manually re-investing this would make the ROR feature work but without investing into companies I deem as currently over-valued.

Thoughts?

What is the ROR feature?

It’s where the new way 212 goes about things calculating your rate of return. It includes the dividends received and profit from selling as the overall return as opposed to just growth or loss for the portfolio.

My understanding is (so far anyway) that if auto-invest is knocked off the div payments won’t be included in the ROR so difficult to see what the overall picture is.
