So pretty new to trading, and just a bit confused by something I canāt seem to Google my way to better knowledge of.
If I search for āInvesco FTSE all worldā
I get a lot of results that look identical apart from an acronym preceeding them - FWRG, FTWG, FWRA - these are the three that trade on the London Stock Exchange.
Can anyone tell me the difference? And if there is any kind of comprehensive acronym buster for trading that would be super.
I see, thanks. It seems a bit confusing to a newcomer as a ticker for a normal stock is so obviously an abbreviation of the name of the company, but for these are all for very similarly titled ETFs , but it is not obvious where the letters come from.
(third link in next post as Iām a noob)
Just the links to the stocks - I guess maybe F stands for FTSE, āGā for GBP and A for American dollar (although that would be weird as itās usually USD). The letters in the middle I have no ideaā¦
But I guess it isnāt that important in the end. So long as you study the differences and choose the right stock for you, then knowing the ticker to your own stocks is all the info you need, even if I would like to know what it stands for
