To address this problem, I wrote my own Windows Desktop application to build my own database of T212 data and include an extra ‘PortfolioNotes’ database table. The note can store links to data both internal (PDFs, Docs, Text) and external (URLs) and can contain your own free text.
I am prepared to make this available free of charge to anyone who has VB/C# and SQL Server skills but before I make it distributable I need to asses demand. Would there be such a demand?

I personally think it is an urgently needed function and I very much appreciate your offer.
Unfortunately it is not for me as I don’t use the website (iPhone/iPad), lack programming skills and have not much clue about SQL either.
Ideally Trading 212 would add this functionality at some point, but it appears the GUI team is busy making the interface unusable.
Here is an idea which will go some way to solving your problem.
Maintain a Microsoft Word (or similar) document laid out as below. Then you can search for the ticker and access your notes.
Link1 to internal/external data
Link2 to internal/external data
etc.
The link to external data is the full URL starting with http://….
The link to internal file looks like this: ‘file:\D:\Data\Investing\Is_this_a_good_time_to_buy_shares_in_3i_Infrastructure.pdf’
This is one of my links on my D drive but I’m sure you get my drift. Make sure to replace the spaces in the filename with underscores or the link will not work
Best of luck with it.
You can, of course, also put free text in there.
Unfortunately T212 dropped some of my code as it had chevrons round it. Here is the layout again:
Ticker1
Link1 to internal/external data
Free Text
Link2 to internal/external data
Ticker2
etc.
That would be a possibility as well.
Currently I’m using Notes on iOS, with a section I can collapse for every ticker. It kinda works, but it’s obviously a far cry from what could be…
I raised a request for a notes facility against individual holdings several months ago. Not seen a response. Just a simple editable field to record whatever you want to type. It would also be helpful to be able to record simple notes at the pie level. Can’t be too hard to implement surely ?
