I currently have two ISAs opened with T212 (Cash and SS) and am looking to potentially move some of the funds from the Cash ISA to the SS ISA.
Can this simply be done from the Manage Funds section without affecting the ISA allowances in any way? Iām aware that transfers between ISAs need to follow a strict set of rules. Basically, I donāt want to end up in a scenario where this transfer is considered a withdrawal from the Cash ISA followed by a deposit to the SS ISA, which would then count towards the yearly allowance.
Yes, you can move funds between your two ISAs at any time from the āManage fundsā tab. All transfers between the two accounts are instant, donāt impact your allowance, and are free of charge
I have read a post saying you can have both Cash ISA & S&S ISA in same Tax year. I have 20k in Cash ISA. but would like to Split this, with S&S ISA. just cant work out how to do this on Trading 212. I can see I can withdraw from Cash ISA to Invest account. just not sure if this is right way of doing it.
Are the funds of this tax year free to move between Cash ISA and Stock and Shares ISA via āMove Fundsā from 6th of April without affecting next tax year allowance? @Bogi.H
If you transfer funds between the two ISAs (Cash and S&S ISA), the ISA allowance wonāt be affected. Transferring between ISA and CFD or Invest will impact the allowance, though.
