Please consider adding the ability to create multiple pots (or savings buckets) inside one Cash ISA account.
People save for all sorts of different goals at the same time β an emergency fund, a holiday, a new car, home improvements, or just general savings. Right now, the only way to properly separate and track these is to open multiple ISAs with different providers, which is inconvenient, fragments our money, and can sometimes lead to missing out on the best rates.
With a multi-pot system inside the Cash ISA:
β’ The ISA would still function as one single account with one total balance for tax-free interest purposes.
β’ Users could create visual βpotsβ (e.g., Emergency Fund, Holiday 2027, New Car, General Savings) and allocate portions of their money to each.
β’ It would be a visual and organisational tool β super helpful for mental clarity and motivation.
β’ Interest would continue to be calculated on the total Cash ISA balance and distributed proportionally across the pots (or equally, depending on implementation).
This keeps everything clean from a regulatory and tax perspective while giving users the flexibility they need.
