Could someone please explain why am i seeing negative equity in my protfolio even when the price paid and current price has a massive difference. Even sell price is higher than price paid
Could be to do with the currency exchange.
Yeah it’s probably currency exchange. Unfortunately USD weakened quite a lot in the last month against other currencies (euro/sterling). Hence when you sell and covert USD back to your original currency, it’s lower than the amount you spent for the stock.
