New Vanguard UCITS ETFs

Hi all :waving_hand:

Vanguard launched a batch of new Ireland-domiciled UCITS ETFs on 19 May 2026, particularly interested in: FTSE Global All-Cap & FTSE Global Small-Cap.

Any visibility on whether T212 is in the process of adding these, and if so, a rough timeline?

Thanks

There is no evidence that Vanguard has launched these funds. Just a rumour on ETF Stream website but with no quote or corroboration from Vanguard. They don’t appear on the Vanguard Funds announcement page.

They were registered with the Central Bank of Ireland on 14 April 2026: https://registers.centralbank.ie/(S(atb1s1eysq1bdt45cyzep0nm))/FundRegisterDataPage.aspx?fundReferenceNumber=C96468&register=28

Sure. That’s why there were rumours. It is not an announcement from Vanguard.

A fund cannot be ā€˜rumored’ into the Central Bank of Ireland’s official tracking database; it’s a legal fact. Vanguard might have no public market as of yet (haven’t looked myself) but the underlying structure is officially there. Hence I asked the T212 team visibility on their own underlying structure and timeline.

No it just means it has been registered with the regulator, which is just a prerequisite. This could mean an intention to launch at some point in the future, nothing else. There is no ā€œstructureā€ in place yet, no announcement from the ICVC which is Vanguard Funds plc, no money, no prospectus, no KIID, nothing. T212 can’t offer funds that don’t exist.

That’s not how UCITS regulatory approval works. The Central Bank of Ireland does not grant statutory regulatory approval to a vague intention without a completed prospectus supplement, KIID, and legal structure already filed and approved.

Both the ā€˜structural’ and legal existence is there; the only thing it lacks is the exchange listing and public seed capital. Again, asking the T212 team if they have visibility on a regulatory-approved pipeline question.

Here is the 711 page master prospectus from Vanguard Funds PLC btw: https://fund-docs.vanguard.com/etf-prospectus-en.pdf
