NIO Leveraged and Short 3x ETP

Hello everyone,
I hope all of you had a great easter week-end

Following your comment about bid/ask spread on 3x NIO ETP, I contacted our Market Maker this morning. After verification from their end, typical bid/ask spread during US market close (UK Trading hours only) is between 4 and 4.5%… and during US market opens, typical bid/ask spread is between 1 and 1.5%.

They told me that given the volatility on the NIO stock, this kind of spread is already competitive. The only way to improve spreads is to increase trading volumes on exchange. This will be also monitored by the MM in case of lower volatility on NIO Stock.

The thing I liked about this article:

β€˜Our research has shown that a select group of hedge fund holdings outperformed the S&P 500 ETFs by 124 percentage points since March 2017’

These are all the funds holding Nio ^

Some interesting news about NIO :sunglasses:

Will NIO do better than Tesla in the deployment of charging stations? I think this is currently a point that is clearly an advantage for Tesla but NIO could quickly catch up with them.

Looks like Nio might break support if we get a bearish tech week if you ask me (what you should not

I like using graniteshares but recently there are too many problems. As an example I bought netflix -3x around 4pm UK yesterday and was 8 per cent down from the moment it was purchased. Also see 3x long bp screenshot from yesterday/today

Does that mean you are holding them as long term investments? Are you not worried about decay as these products are designed for single day holiding? Would be interesting to know your view on these bundles. I was also thinking of holding these bundles for long term except the ones which have Netflix and Tesla. I did some quick analysis and it seems these bundles might be not impacted by decay as the overall beta of a bundle might be less as compared to individual shares. But very keen to know your thoughts
