Is there anywhere we can see these profits in more detail? Client assets is kind of irrelevant isn’t it, as what is important here is trading 212’s operating profitability, not how much your clients hold on account. Or am I missing something with that? Either way, do you know where I can find the most up to date accounts for 212 showing, revenue, costs, profit, balance sheet etc?

Yeh I see that. The most recent being for 2019. Just wondered where this statement of now being profitable is substantiated as they aren’t due to report any 2020 accounts until Sept 2021…

You have to take it in trust that they released that information to bring comfort to some that the platform is now self sustaining and we are all a part of that. Its also a key milestone for many companies to have all areas profitable.

You won’t see it in the 2020 accounts, most likely have to wait for the 2021 accounts once audited and released.

Yeh and I’d like to. I love the service. Just thought I’d do a bit more due diligence following the issues with football index I’ve seen lately. I know these are completely different companies and rules exist between client assets and company assets here, plus FSCS and regulatory weight on FS is extremely tight. I’m not sure it is right to say “we are all part of that” when referring to the company though. I want 212 to be extremely profitable; but their profits are theirs and mine are mine. We aren’t responsible for how they conduct their business.

Was it not true on the date the article was posted?

The profitability from the ISA/Invest accounts probably won’t be detailed until 2021 in their company reports for the Year 2020.
