Can we get a screener to screen the pies?
I find the idea of the pies interesting, but I really miss a filter. To filter by region, strategy, sector, etc.
Suppose you invest in momentum stocks but want to get involved in the healthcare sector. That would be possible with such a pie With an ETF, you invest directly and can immediately see which stocks you are investing in. But currently, you only see the largest and newest pies and cant Filter them.
The real power of pies is to make your own pies. Copying other people’s pies is a gimmick really.
Making your own pies is definitely powerful, but I wouldn’t call community pies a gimmick. As an investor, you can never know everything about every sector. While ETFs offer an easy solution, they tend to be quite defensively oriented. If you want a more offensive or focused strategy, discovering well-constructed pies from investors who specialize in that area can be incredibly valuable. A screener would simply be the tool to find those specific strategies.
