Hi i would like to know the best way to edit Pie Descriptions.
on the mobile app its very messy and not very well layed out at all as you cant edit font and etc.
does any one know the best way to edit pie description so i can edit it properly.
Anyone has good pie for us, hoping for the + outcome of the not covid but the upcoming infrastructure bill?

people can’t advertise their pies here anymore. you’ll need to log into the app and go to the social pies section

With the new introduction of Exchange fees 0f 015 % (e.g., 0.3% for Buy/sell) is it still worthy copy other people pie.
I have not done that before but I understand that if you have a fix amount invested in pie the weighting is dynamic as people, the instituiion keep selling and buying the stocks all the time. Because of this you will lose the currencies exchange fee every time the weighting is changing. What di you think??
It would only be 0.15% of the new transactions required to update/balance the pie, not 0.15% of the whole pie. I think that’s a negligible amount, of course it’s still worthy to copy pies.
Certainly, the currency exchange fee will not be the whole value of pie but only for the traded stock. Otherwise, it does not make sense.
Regarding conversion fee Is the conversion not twice. Say it is overweighted and the new pie will need to reduce the weighting buy selling it while adding the new weight for other stocks which is currently under weight??
When is the pie library going to appear on the web app?

The Pie Library is available on iOS and Android only, and implementing it on the web is not in the pipeline at the time.
As always, we will keep you updated on any changes.
Thats a real shame. I hope you change your mind at some point.
Is there an easy way to copy a pie from your ISA account to your Invest account?

Yes, it is possible for you to copy a pie from your ISA account to your Invest account. All you need to do is :

Access your ISA account, through your Mobile App (it’s mandatory that you do it through the mobile app, otherwise it won’t work).

Each pie has its own link, that the pie holder can use, to share their pie with friends. You need to get a hold of your pie link from the Sharing option which can be seen once you click on Pies.

Switch to your INVEST account via the app.

Paste the link in the mobile browser so that the app can redirect you to the Pie you want to copy.
Once you get the link, you can access it from your Invest account and link the pie to it. That way, when you make changes to the original pie held in the ISA account, the one in the INVEST will adjust simultaneously.

Could we get some rich text editing functions added to the social pies bits please - especially the descriptions? Who be nice to put emphasis in some places.
Also expand the character limit a bit please!?

Hi Scrooge, no plans for this atm.
The implications of a free-for-all username change are significant, as is the potential for abuse.
If we were to implement something, it would have accompanying side effects, e.g. deleting all of your social content (posts, comments, etc.) up to the date of the change.
In any case, and this goes for everyone - please let us know why you would like to change your username and if you have any ideas for a non-abuse-prone implementation. We might just do it if the idea is good enough.
P.S. We definitely will not go down the route of reviewing change requests on a case-by-case basis

Mines straight forward enough - I set it up without thinking about how I’d use it and now I’d like to change it.
Appreciate the username abuse scenario - wouldn’t some simple moderation tools sort this? A block or mute feature alongside your report flag?
Solution could be the addition of a ‘Display Name’ - the username is stationary and remains linked to the original account?
I think this forum has this function already.
