So is this still good news @mcwilliams91?
I hope so I’m in heavy lol

I am no financial advisor so recommend doing your own DD but my personal opinion is that this is good news. Maybe not as good as it being Impossible Foods but looking at the numbers Tattooed Chef looks quite good with plenty of growth potential with many people loving the products (based on reviews). Personally think it will be valued higher than it is right now, though stock is being dumped right now by some who expected it to be Impossible Foods. I may be completely wrong but this is my opinion so take it with a pinch of salt.

I purchased a small position a couple of days ago. It is not Impossible Foods, but the brand itself is interesting and memorable so this one is a keeper.

If anyone will spot any similar companies, please let the community know, because there is a huge revolution in the food industry on the horizon. We cannot predict the winners, but we definitely want to buy a ticket to the show.

I’ve read their presentation and I’m feeling pretty confident now tbh.

I’ve only just read it through.

Had a wee look on Twitter and some of the comments on the $FMCI tag, and they’re suggesting A-okay as well. I caught a comment that their profits last year were more than either Impossible or Beyond, I can’t remember which now.

More than beyond. They also supply off label to trader Joe’s which is where nearly half their their profits come from. A few people felt deflated at the announcement because they where expecting “impossible”.

Absolutely.

Seems a fair few sold off based on the news, however it’s only allowed others to average down, and returned to where it started.

It’s a chance you take with a SPAC, that it might end up going for a company you firmly didn’t believe it would. Overall, it looks okay to me.

Woohoo they’re flying

What other SPACs are there on here that have not yet bought their “target company”?

Spaq
Cch
Feac
Ccxx

Not sure how close any of them are to closing a deal

Edit: cch is going to be UTZ snacks.

Not sure if there is to be honest, I was referencing that the majority of people were convinced it was going to be Impossible Foods so bought in under that belief. News comes out otherwise, so they sell. It’s the chance you take investing into a SPAC without knowing who they’re after.

I would say ccxx could be a big one as they raised $1.1billion but they only arrived into the market in February so it will take quite a while to find out who they are merging with (if they find a suitable company). They have 2 years I believe to find a suitable candidate so don’t think they’ll rush it so be prepared for a very long hold.

People are speculating FEAC could be Endeavour (UFC). But I wouldn’t come to any conclusions yet.

I did read that on the Tweeternet right enough!
