Yeah it’s just how it is, is makes a connection with a viewer, and gives a bit of personality. I guess it slightly unprofessional but I’m not some high quality deep insight channel, whole point is to show my journey, teach what I know and encourage people who aren’t investing to come join me with it!

You should revisit this post and add ‘Total Return’.
Also there’s nothing wrong with UK clean energy Investment Trusts. They have a place in everyone’s portfolio. 
Total return annoys me. As you see from most YouTubers, people just assume the number Trading 212 gives you is your return. Did I do portfolio value though?

Hey i know this comment is old, ive been confused about this fx impact, everyone saying if the dollar goes up your return goes up, i dont get it?
Confusing but i bought at gbp/us rate of 1.18, im 4 percent down but the dollar has risen from that date to 1.25 as shown,apoligies if sounding/looking stupid,im just confused as to when is the best time to buy US stocks.
The dollar has dropped in your example. You get less pounds per dollar.
