How much stamp duty (or similar taxes) do you pay per year (€/$/£)?

Notes:
Only government taxes, so no transaction fees by brokers, just government taxes. Also French transaction tax or similar taxes should be included (although Stamp Duty probably will be the bigger fish here).

Spent about £1500 on shares thie year so abouts £10/20 I think?

Assuming US dividend withholding tax isn’t included in this?

no dividend withholding tax, just stamp duty and similar taxes (for example the french transaction tax)

Stamp duty is 0.5% (if I’m not mistaken) so approx 1500*0.005 = 7.5. But I just want a more general idea of what people currently are paying in those kinds of taxes

Sorry. I did guesstimate. :laughing:

I will probably get to £10ish by this Dec 31st though!

I normally don’t pay much but loaded on Diageo and Bunzl this year so definitely 100+
