Apologies if this has been asked, I did look. I’m fairly new to Trading212. I noticed that upon receiving a dividend from one of my investments, this was reinvested back solely into the company that paid the dividend but split across all holdings in my pie. Can this behaviour be changed or is this just how it is when using pies? For example, can I choose to reinvest that dividend only to the company that paid me?
Currently, dividends are distributed to all instruments within a Pie, and there’s no such feature. I’ll forward your feedback to the team, though, as I see how this could be useful. Thanks for sharing
Brining this one back up. I just thought - although it’s a pain there are two ways to achieve my original objective: 1) as per RLX’s suggestion to have an individual pie per stock and auto-reinvest that way; and 2) disable auto-reinvest and allow the dividend funds to be credited, then purchase more shares manually in the stock that provided the dividend and then import that investment back into the pie.
